Sun came through out of the wind, out of the rain
Sky turned blue as the whistle blows a passing train
A cry for help rises from the tracks below
A lady's scream cries to me, I'm moving slow
Bound and chained across the rails
Bound to die if I should fail
To save her in time
I grabbed my cane, tried to run as fast as I could
The whistling train, it rounds the bend just like it should
Bound for home the train gains speed
Bound to die the girl's in need
I'll do all that I can
Time is tight, I've reached her, now to set her free
I wish for night just in case I shouldn't see
